Question about Samsung Blackjack SGH-I607 Smartphone

1 Answer

Blackjack sound quality

When placing a call the party on the other end only hears a garbled sound when I speak. I also tried using a bluetooth device and the results are the same. I went on the Samsung site, downloaded and updated to the latest software, this did not work either.

Re: Blackjack sound quality

Is this phone under a year old, because if it is do a warranty claim as long as it has no water damage.

What is the unlock code for a samsung blackjack ?

In order to 'pair' one Bluetooth device to another, a passcode has to be exchanged between the two devices. When you first connect, one machine will ask you to enter a passcode... enter any 4 digit number. The other device will then ask you for a passcode. Enter the same 4 digit number. It doesn't matter what the passcode is, as long as you enter the same number at both ends.

sometimes as default the code is 1111 ,1234,9999,5555 so you need to try them you can try them as many times as you want .

hope this helped let us know how you get on

My Blackjack i607 dials a number but I don't hear anything

Are you using a bluetooth? This will prevent the earpiece from being used but will allow the speakerphone to function properly.

Sx66 cant hear people and they cant hear me

i encountered this problem after i started using a bluetooth headset. when the headset is not in use (not turned on, not even with me), sometimes there is no sound from the speaker, and the other party cannot hear me. meanwhile, the call timer is clicking away indicating the call connected. it seemed there was some issue in the bluetooth stack, and the phone thought it should be communicating with the BT device rather than it's onboard speaker/mic. to resolve, i disconnect the call, go to the main screen; in the bottom right corner, use the bluetooth manager icon to turn BT On then Off again. this resets the phone's speaker/mic usage, and calls can be made like normal. i hope this helps you.

The first 2 answers sound relay dumb but always start at the beginning when diagnosing a problem. 1: make sure you're not placing your thumb over the Mic (located at the bottom, front of the device). 2: make sure Mute is not turned on, if it is tap it to turn it off. 3: if your using handsfree mode try picking the phone up and using it normally. There's no Mic volume control in the standard Matchbox based GUI but some 3rd party software does include volume adjustments so take a look at your settings in any control apps you have installed. lastly see if you get the same problem using a headset, you have not said if you are using the phone normally, with a headset/BlueTooth headset or in handsfree mode. Post back if non of this helps.
