Question about GPS
To fix the issue temparorily :just Disconenct the GPS cable from the unit. Turn off all power (turn battery off). Then hook everyhting back up and turn battery on then unit on.
but to fix it permanantly the technician gave you a right advice.it is caused due to weak aerial that catches weak signals.to fix it permanantly, just replace the aerial and the new aerial will be able to hold up the strong signal. i have solved this problem for many of my clients by changing the aerial.positively replace the aerial to get your device to work proper definately.
thanks for using fixya.please do accept and rate this solution positively.
