Question about Refrigerators
Model No KGU32164GB102. I accidentally switched my fridge freezer off this morning and on switching it back on I get an alarm and now very low settings. How do I reset temperatures to the correct ones please.
Usually have to wait about 15 minutes before turning it back on otherwise the compressor will reset itself on and off till you pull the plug out for 15 minutes
Hope this helps. God Bless :O)

Testimonial: "Sorry lewis but that doesn't help. Last time we did this Bosch told us to switch the fridge off again and leave the doors open overnight to defrost, then switch back on again and it will reset eventually. I did this last night and switched it back on this morning. I've come home tonight and one setting is 22 and the other 05. The 5 number needs to reach 18. Good job I didn't do a fridge shop today. No 24hr customer service available tonight like they promised as their system is down...."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

This button is the winter/summer setting.
If you switch it on so as the red mark shows this is set for the summer setting.
What it does is allows the interior light to come on very dimly when you shut the door.
The fridge then thinks it is too warm and starts to cool down more, designed for when the ambient temperature is high.
Hope this helps

You can find most user manauls at, www.managemyhome.com, on the right side of the page. You will need the model number off the product information label affixed to the unit.

In your case I will need to assume that your model is a typical refrigerator with a defrost control and these type have parts that are made up of the major parts for the auto defrost. Auto defrost has a most likely problem found in the timer or electronic defrost control. These are most times found inside the fresh food section and behind the temperature control panel in the photo below marked a E and in that photo it shows a defrost timer in lower arrow and a electronic defrost control in the upper arrow. The next most likely problem would be the defrost heater and defrost thermostat found in the rear of the freezer compartment. Sounds like the defrost system has failed. Most Brand models We are able to handle here in the USA but your model is made ih the UK and I have tried my best to Have your dealers provide me information about parts replacement. A refrigerator is a Refrigerator and that is a fact but your models is designed for your local voltage 220 volt at 50 cycles That is normal home voltage in most countries except th USA. Our voltage for an appliance is 120 volts at 60 cycles so all the electrical components ar different and made different for different countries. When I request parts or diagrams from the UK I am always rejected. Then given a local repair center to service the brand of appliance.

SOURCE: Temperature setting
The fridge should be just above freezing, maybe 2 or 3 degrees celsius. The freezer should be around -15 degrees celsius. The outside temp doesn't matter as far as the settings go.
