Question about Vehicle Parts & Accessories
When you say cooling are you talking about a radiator or AC system. the radiator has a hose on the back of the radiator facing the engine. unscew it usually counter clockwise while facing it. open the radiator cap to speed up the process. If your talking about the AC There is a high pressure and low pressure line coming from the AC compressor. The easiest one to reach is the low pressure. you want the high pressure end. its located on the pipe coming from the AC compressor, remove the cap by unscrewing it. now you`ll see what looks like a bicycle or car tire valve. You can push this with a screw drive. BE CAREFUL not to damage it or get the gas on yourselt. Ive done this while charging the system. feeding freon in and just for a few seconds open the high pressure to let out air till you feel cold freon coming out. Have the motor running and the AC on its highest setting while putting in freon. WARNING discarging freon into the atmosphere is illegan and destroys the ozone layer.
