SOURCE: I have a set of Logitech G51 speakers that have

if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand, system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer
hope this helps

There is a knocking noise in two speakers now no volume

Best guess - you have blown what are called the "electronic crossovers". These distribute power to the different speakers within the enclosure, tweeters, midrange, and woofers. The truth is simple: Logitech speakers are made of junk. Sorry, but it's true. The safest thing that you can do is get amplified speakers, that is the power amp is built into the speaker enclosure and run it out through the headphone jack. If you go to eBay you can get a pair of M-Audio AV-40s for $145 and free shipping. I've owned these for four years and I am VERY FUSSY about sound quality. If you do that you'll have to connect the left speaker to the right speaker with coaxial cable. Don't skimp on this. I bought a six foot length of 8-gauge coax for about $10. You would probably be happy with 10 gauge and it would be a lot easier to work with. You're also going to have to buy a headphone jack to RCA stereo connector. Get a Bose - I did! For a little less than $200 you'll have a system that will blow your mind!!

There is no sound coming out of the speakers. I checked and everything is on, nothing is muted, and the green light is even going up and down when music is on. What should i do?

Hello,
the problem of the no sound could be as a result of blown fuses in the audio stage of the printed circuit board, please do check for blown fuses, if otherwise take the system to the manufacturer for proper diagnosis. hope this will help..

I'm sure you went to Control Panel, opened device manager, and and checkeck for any yellow checks for your
sound, video and game controllers. If there are none, your system is go. Then go to your audio manager on control panel, and set it up for whatever speaker configuration you have. I have realtec audio manager. This step is a must for configuring—you choose whether your laptop will use its own speaks or use your external speakers—you have to turn off the internal speakers and turn on the external. Did you forget?
