Question about Bush 5693D 24" TV
TV has been working fine gone to put it on and their is no picture displaying but sound is coming through fine. It s working couple of hours prior to this.
This is the most common way LED-LCD TV's fail. Usual culprit is power board or power supply, since these tend to run a LOT of power through these sections to rectify and give the display the current it needs.
Parts are not major, 25-$100, but Tech Labor can be another 100-200, and by then you are looking at the same cost as a new TV at Best Buy. Sorry.

Check and replace damaged component/s at its horizontal scan output section circuit. Check the LOT (Line Output Transformer) too for damage. Replace the horizontal scan output transistor. Check the input voltage to LOT. If absent check the feeder resistor; if any. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Viewing it in "Mosaic" or "Magazine" will make surf easy. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts.
