Question about Whirlpool Inglis IP4400 Washer
Agitator seems loose and does not rotate in washer mode. Need to remove it to assess the problem. Are replacement agitator available .. if not, I know how to fix this one with epoxy and carbon fiber ;-) but only if I can get it off!

387091 is the part called agitator clutch or dogs,they are little yellow pieces of plastic with teeth on the ends to grip the agitator and turn in it the teeth are worn off of yours..

i think that the grinding noise is the dogs that cause it augar . the center and are worn out . there is a agit repair kit and it comes with instructions . so replace the drive dog's and it should work properly mm
