Question about Samsung Heating & Cooling

1 Answer

Samsung Air Conditioner will not

The A/C will work for a few seconds then the timer light will flash and will stop working. After resetting with the Remote control same thing and resetting with the circuit breaker, same thing.

Try to test it`s AMBIENCE SENSOR,if it is good, check the system ctl. board for it`s water traces, mostly it gives moist and turn to condensation when switching it off.and dont forget to check the rusted sockets (connectors)specially for the sensor

SOURCE: air conditioner

There is a fuse inside the control panel of the AC itself. You have to take the cover off (from inside on the ceiling) and look up in there with a flashlight to find it. It is usually a very small amperage fuse - I think a 1 or maybe a 5 amp.

hope this helps

good luck

SOURCE: air conditioner stopped working

Check the breaker in the panel and the fuses in the disconnect at the outside unit. If that doesn't do it. call a heating and air technician instead of an electrician.

SOURCE: FUJITSU SPLIT AIR REMOTE CONTROL PROBLEM

I had a similar problem with only fan air then the blinking lights, found out that mice had got into the circuit board and corroded some connections with their urine. I would try the above solution by turning the power off for ten sec first but remember that you have to leave it for a few minutes before you operate remote.

SOURCE: Thru-the-wall air conditioner won't turn on

Check for power at the plug in, if it's got power take it back under warranty.

Air Conditioner cannot be turned on when power-light is flashing

The flashing light is a delay timer, usually activated when changing from heating to cooling and visa versa. The fact that the unit can only run from certain times shows that the timer is activated. You need to cancel the timer function on the remote.

Sharp a/c-#AF-S85FX

The e1 code is operated by a timer which stops the machine every 720 hours of run time. There are 2 procedures to reset this.

1) unplug the machine. Hold down the power button while plugging it back in and waiting for a beep of about 5 seconds duration. Release the power button. Unplug the machine again. Resume trying to use it as an air conditioner.

2) unplug the machine. Hold down the Mode button while plugging it back in and waiting for a 3 second beep. Release the mode button. The machine will start. turn it off by pressing the power button. Resume trying to use the air conditioner.

If these do not work, the "clean filter timer" is broken and will require you to replace some parts.

(Aren't you glad there is a computer is almost everything?)
