Love this mouse, but the scroll wheel doesn't at all have that beautiful whrrrrrrr anymore that it had when new. It skips some, stops turning as if it's gummed up inside, has lost it's magic. I've guessed it just needs to be cleaned somehow, but before i try something like that, is there anyone else here that's noticed this problem, and come across a solution?

It looks like the rod that connects the wheel to the sensor has lost its traction. The teeth may be worn out. Unfortunately, spare wheels are not sold separately by Logitech and any warranty that you have will be voided if you open up the device.
If your mouse is still under warranty, you may be able to obtain a replacement through an RMA. Click here for RMA details. The VX Revolution has a 3 year warranty.
