SOURCE: How to check the IP on Digital Sprite 2?

I have no idea what Digital Sprite 2 is , but one universal way to check an IP of a device is to put it after DHCP server and check that server's IP allocation table.

Most home routers have those DHCP servers built-in and functional, so maybe the real question here is "how to check the IP lease allocation table of my wireless router" :-)

You can't. You have to send it back to dedicated micros, unless of course you can use hyperterminal.

Have you checked the system fans and hard drives as it maybe over heating. the fans don't last long around 15000hrs and stop cooling the system, that makes the hard drives over heat and the system board.... now I don't know why but if the system board goes over 40c inside the system will freeze up cameras pictures will stay on screen but frozen. but if a hard drive fault happens on slave the system will not record but the cameras will still be displaying movement but not record or say live just a red flashing power led. If it does these then change them. if the psu is at lower end of its life the voltage must be checked. the capacitors in side will need changing and the cooling fan you will need a 2200uf 25v/ 2x 470uf 16v/ 3x 3300uf 16v/ 1000uf 16v. and new 12v fan. you should easy spot the ones gone as the tops go rounded. This also may help you to stop problems happening as it has worked on mine. inside the system put a board in-between the hard drive/s and system board leave an inch gap at the end near to the fans. I have found this helps vent the heat out better. you could if you are able to fit some fans into the board. may help cool them down better. now for why the system fails at 40c. the system fails as there is not enough ventilation now normally here in the UK it is fine, but with temp's getting into the 30c's in the summer times, the systems need to be in tip top condition. so replace fans every 2 years and hard drives every 4 years. hope this helps some of you out.
