Super Nintendo with no power.

I just bought a Super Nintendo from Ebay and the guy said it should work perfect but when I plug it in and everything it won't come on like it isn't getting any power to it. I emailed the guy back and he said to try another outlet but it still isn't working.

i think that the ac adapter port is missing from mine. It won't turn on, and i can't find just a port and i won't be charged 50 bucks for someone to fix it...is there a way to just rig it? where the port should be, there are two prongs in the center and a metal peice at the bottom, where i am guessing the bottom of the cord plugs into

I guess its the fuse! The fuse you will need is a 1.5 amp pico fuse. To get to the fuse you will need a snes screw driver which can be found on ebay. The picofuse will have to be soldered on. Might be cheaper buying a new one!

Its the unit, there is a prong that is suppose to stick out of there. The power port is broken. If you find the solution please e-mail me.

You have to find out if the problem is in the power supply or in the unit itself. Try measuring the power supply or something. Or hunt for another power supply online, and try that.

Check the power supply and try a known good PSU if you can get one. Your unit probably has a bad PSU. If the PSU is ok, the motherboard of the console is broken.

The liittel hole where u put in the power plug is not working

Is it a oem NINTENDO power plug? Or is it one some guy said;" This one is it"! One thing you have to Make sure is that there happens to be different polarities. Meaning; sometimes the positive is in the center little hole and negative is on the outside. ( and vise versa) Take a look at that. Sone plugs, cords, and such will show you a small Icon that will show you the polarity. Good luck and hope that helps!

Hi i just bought a super nes system it came with RF switch power unit which i have connected to the appropriate connections, i have an LG TV with an golden eye and don't seem to be able to tune the...

Make sure everything's connected in the correct sockets. Turn the SNES on, change to one of the Analogue channels (one of the channels which you control with the TV remote) and start scanning for a signal. The RF cable has to be connected to the analogue port (where a TV aerial would plug in to get analogue channels) and the SNES needs to be switched on.

The alternative is to get a SCART-compatible cable that works with a Gamecube or an N64 and use it with the SNES, as Nintendo had the foresight to add an EXT port which'll let you play the SNES on an AV channel.
