Question about Cooktops
Unused for two weeks, and house rather cold. Power switched of and back on, **** error code E99 persists
Hello Cecilia, thank you for your post!
If you are receiving an error code E99 on your Electrolux Induction Cook-top, it typically relates to a communication failure. If switching your breaker off and on did not resolve your issue, you may want to connect with a local servicer who will be best equipped to pinpoint the problem. If you don't know a qualified technician, you can use the service locator option on the manufacturer site to find one near you.
Best regards, Z.

Testimonial: "Yes communication problem sounds probable. I called the Electrolux service center, they had never heard of error e99, but a man came over. When he came the stove worked just fine, and there was nothing he could do, though up till two hours earlier it had refused to work for several days. It still works just fine, and as long as it does I'am happy."
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Hi Sue -- when you switched the breaker, how long did you leave it off before switching it back on? Generally, it's a good idea to leave the breaker off (or unplug the unit) for a full 30 seconds before switching the unit back on. If you did have it off for 30 seconds and the error code came on after that point, then it may possibly be a relay isse. That will more than likely require a visit from an authorized servicer to properly diagnose the cooktop. Hopefully the 30-second test prevails and the issue is resolved. Best of luck!

Hi Dolores, I understand that your cooktop will not turn on after receiving an error code "40". Usually this error code can indicate a communication error between the Induction Module, Relay Board, and Control Board. I would also recommend doing a hard reset by unplugging or turning the household power breaker off to the appliance for five to ten minutes. If the problem persists, please reach out to a professional technician. Hope this helps! -JK

Good Afternoon friend, I appreciate your inquiry!
Typically on an Electrolux induction cooktop the "E4" error code stands for key sensor for timer. Which means you could be experiencing an issue with the right board, center board, or left board. I would perform a reset on your cooktop and you can do that by flipping the household circuit breaker off for ten minutes.
If that does not assist with clearing any false error codes or the error "E4" continues to display I would suggest seeking assistance from a professional for proper diagnosis and repair. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

Thank you for your post, friend!
I located that on Electrolux Cooktop error codes "35" and "75" stand for input voltage too low. It could be an issue with your filter board or an issue within the voltages. I would recommend having a professional come out to your cooktop to properly diagnose to avoid any unnecessary part purchases. -Matt

You may try and reset the induction cook top by disconnecting the power to the unit for up to 30 seconds. This will clear most false error codes. You can disconnect power by flipping the circuit breaker off and back on. If the error code does not clear, then the unit more than likely can be experiencing an issue with the EOC and user interface board. This is not a typical do it yourself job; please consult a professional or your manufacturer.
