Problem for Toshiba Satellite A135-S4527 PC Notebook
No sound recorder icon on my computer

I have a toshiba satellite a135-s4527 that i downgraded from vista yo XP 2008, my problem is that i can find the sound recorder icon in order to activate the microphone, in other words i can't make calls through my headset, i only hear the person but they can't hear me at all.

ok open --double click volume icon in task bar near time , u will be seeing VOLUME CONTROL in that press OPTIONS ---> PROPERTIES ---->RECORDINGS , in that make sure microphone is checked
second after that ur micophone slider bar shd be at upper end..
