The trip cover of my Stanley Bostitch N60FN nailing gun keeps popping open. I’m using 15 gauge 2 1/2” angled Bostitch nails, and have adjusted my compressor between 80 and 100 psi, but it continues.

This can be caused by a couple of things:
- Material is too hard and causing the nail to stress
- Nails are too long causing the same thing
- End of driver is worn or chipped causing the driver to ride over the nail and pop the nose open.

How do I fix my ceiling that has fallen down

If not too bad, it can be re-nailed or re-screwed (easier) to the ceiling timbers, and the fasteners plastered over.

If bad,it is best to pull down the whole lot (take care, it is heavy), examine the ceiling timbers for termites or rot, and then replace the ceiling with plasterboard (drywall), and new cornices.

How to put a raw plug into a plaster wall?

It's actually quite easy, but a few simple rules need to be followed. The drill size will depend on the size of the plug to be used. The type of drill bit will depend on whether it is a wall with plaster on it or plasterboard, which will have a cavity behind it. If it is a solid wall, use a masonry drill, on hammer setting if you have it. For a plasterboard wall a wood or HSS drill bit will do the job. Once you have drilled the hole, push plug in as far as you can, then tap it flush with a hammer. Job done.

Can you put 7 kilo speakers on brackets on plasreboard

Yes BUT you need to locate the stud so you can fix the speaker to the stud and not directly on the plasterboard.
Tap the plasterboard with your knuckle and the sound will change when you locate a stud.

Is plasterboard (with battens behind) strong enough to install a Roca Kalahari wall-hung sink against or do I have to reinforce it using tiles or a bracket?

Ok. Big answer. Where the sink is going to be mounted there needs to be inside the wall structural support mounted between the wall studs. This could be a 2X6 or 2X8 nailed from one wall stud to the next at the height the sink will be mounted. Then once you have repaired the sheet rock you can measure the distance the mounting holes in the back of your sink are and drill these holes smaller than the mounting bolts/screws for your sink. Screw the screw portion into the wall using the nuts on the bolt side and a wrench. Remove the nuts and the slide sink into place where the bolts/screws fit into the mounting holes in the sink back. Install washers and nuts and tighten to wall.
