I tried to upgrade with a new firmware I found in TEAC's site but I didn't notice that it was for the MP350 Model. I downloaded the firmware and upgrade my device. At the beginning it was working ok with some stacks that forced me to restart it. After some days the device closed suddenly and since then it was unable to open it. I tried to load the old firmware from my PC but it was unable to recognise it. I checked the battery and it was ok. Do you have any idea?
-   TeacMP 360 doesn't start. It is working okay when plugged to the socket. The battery is fully charged too. But once removed, it doesn't even turn on. What has to be done? Any ideas? -   suchan

yes, i have the same problem with the MP350 - unrecognizable device, won't start, and stops when usb-cable plugged-in...
i found the next solution... reflashed firmware(same version), plug usb-cable when device is off, and only then put it on, also put the cable only to 75%, enough for the pins to contaact, but not to toch the end of the device connector
found causes: - when usb-cable is inserted deeply into the socket... some problem appears, may-be a short circtuit or other, don't know - when used more than 890Mo of the memory... device dies - using folders to put my music in - the problem appears only from time to time, even with almost full memory... so - may be problem of the flash memory
of course, i'm not an engineer... i just tested and tested and tested... and tweaked a solution that enables ny device to work at least

Although my iPod Nano (4GB) works fine after having it for over nearly 2 years, there is a single, long black line on the screen, almost the entire width of the screen. It appeared after the 2 years and it started off very small, but grew slowly each day. And after 3 weeks it became the size it is now. Is there ANY WAY to fix this?
