Question about Apple MacBook 13"White /2.0Ghz Intel Core2 Duo White/2GB (2x1gb)/80GB/SuperDrive (Z0DT) Mac Notebook
Home network is a pc, a macbook and I-touch. we have dsl and use a verizon versalink gateway device. I-touch and Macbook frequently loose the connection. restarting the wireless devices corrects the problem but occurs shortly after.
Try to use NetSpot app, which is absolutely free http://www.netspotapp.com/

It sounds like the dsl modem and the gateway should be sync'd in the following way:
1. Turn everything off and disconnect the dsl for a bit. Make sure even the wifi stuff is off.
2. Turn on your gateway and let it cyce up.
3. Plug the dsl ethernet cable into your gateway, and to your phone line, then plug in the power to the dsl.
This will cause the dsl modem to "find" the gateway IP address and connect.
4. Turn everything else back on.
This should eliminate all the drops...
Let me knowhow it goes...
