Hp pavilion dv2000 internal micro phone drivers free download

I dont know exact model of your dv2000 hp laptop is, there is many versions of them (as an example HP Pavilion dv2401tu).

Microphone drivers are part of the sound driver package. Suggest if you are running 7, go for the vista drivers. 7 32bit, vista 32bit drivers. 7 64bit, vista 64bit drivers.

Windows update is another option for finding sound drivers for the microphone.

I am unablem to use the mic for the internet chat!!!!

Hi,

First of all find the latest version of the audio driver which is compatible to vista, as most of the drivers that are shipped with sound-card or motherboard cd contain drivers which have support for only until windows Xp.

So it is strongly recommended to download the latest audio driver from the internet for your sound-card or on board audio chipset. Install the vista compatible audio driver (sound driver) for your sound-card or motherboard audio. After this re-start your computer. Half of the work is done.

Now plug in the microphone in your sound-card / motherboard audio pin (generally pink in color for microphone).

After this go to control panel > sound and audio device settings. Check whether the microphone is detected by Vista or not. If not, check whether you have selected the frontal microphone or rear, as vista recognizes them separately unlike windows Xp. Correct the configuration of front/rear mic if needed.

HP pavilion dv9005us. When using built in mic receivers say volume is very low. When I move the lid I get a crackling sound in the speakers like the mic wires a lose ..

To fix the low volume problem in mic receiver follow the steps below:
  1. Click Start , Control Panel .
  2. In the left panel, select Classic View .
  3. Select Sound , and then select the Recording tab.
  4. Right-click on Microphone and select Properties .
  5. On the Custom tab, select Microphone Boost .
  6. On the Levels tab, increase the microphone recording volume to the maximum level.
Then please check if it works fine otherwise you need to install the latest sound driver.

I just bought a sm-m008 microphone. It worked when it's tested on windows XP. but my laptop is windows vista 64bit. so, what should I do then?

Plug it into the mic jack on the laptop. Winsows Vista has drivers built into it for mics so see if it automatically installs once plugged in. You'll need to set up the levels in the recording devices under the sound properties. Good luck & hope this helps.

Sound is ok i hv mic problem

If you install the correct drivers, the audio device should work fine. That includes the microphone if present. Check your sound recording settings in Vista to make sure all the device selections, recording levels etc. are set okay.
Then try recording with the Vista sound recorder to verify.

Microphone does not record sound after connected to pc

Did you check the Device Manager to make sure the audio drivers are installed and the audio device is working fine?
Apart from that, the sound recording settings in Vista should be set correctly to select the mic as the audio input device (it might be set to "Line in" instead), and to set the recording levels high enough.
