Cant find disk

I am moving my keyboard and mouse to another computer but cannot find the installation disk. Can I download it from somewhere?

I see the manual and driver on the website. Is the disk information the driver? And, how do I get it where I can load it on the new computer? Remember, I won't have access to a keyboard or mouse - because it won't be attached yet.

In most cases, any keyboard and mouse - except the wireless types - will function on a different PC. Once on that new PC, you then go to the web site for the mouse and keyboard manufacturer, and download their driver software, run their setup, and your mouse and keyboard should be okay.

They should work basically before you do that, but doing that will give you the features you bought them for.

    Good luck with it.

I'm not sure of the exact model you have but you will have to re-link the mouse and keyboard to the usb receiver. Check your batteries in the mouse and keyboard. If you acquired the key board and mouse from somewhere and you are trying to install it you will need to install software first before linking hardware. this will not work on windows 8 or newer.

Arrow wont move

Dear Fayereid01,

You said "I have a dell computer and when I turn it on to the desktop the arrow wont move to go any further its a desktop with a IBM keyboard"

Make sure that the mouse is plugged into the the correct port. If the mouse you are using is a USB mouse then try other USB ports. If it is another type of mouse that uses a different plug, then try all the ports on your computer that it fits into until it works. It sounds unprofessional but it should work.

If none of this works then put in the CD that should of come with you mouse and install the drivers for your mouse. If you cant find the disc for your mouse then go online to the manufacturers website and you should be able to download the drivers there.

Activation of keyboard

Did you receive a install disk for the keyboard and mouse. typically you need to run the install disk and then plug in the usb hub for the keyboard and mouse to be recognized by the computer. If tha does not work, restart the machinew/the usb hub and keyboard and mouse ready. Are there good batteriesin the keyboard, mouse and usb hub?

My mouse and keyboard do not move my cursor.

HAVE YOU GOT THE DISK THAT CAME WITH THE MOUSE TRY PUTTING IT IN. AND RE LOADING THE MOUSE AND KEYBOARD IF YOU CAN DIRECT YOUR COMPUTER USING THE UP AND DOWN KEYS . GO INTO DEVICE MANAGER AND SEE IF THERE IS A PROBLEM WITH THE DRIVERS. YOU MAY NEED TO REENSTALL THEM FROM. NEW OR TRY A REBOOT. ITS CONNECTED. TEST ALL CABLES AS WELL. ITS MOUSE AND KEYBOARD DRIVERS YOU NEED. THEY ARE ON DISK USUALLY. TRY WINDOWS DISK TO.

Have you tried re-installing the software for the keyboard & mouse. It sounds like a driver is missing and the best way to solve it in most cases is to re-install the software from the disk that came with the Keyboard & Mouse. Hope that helps. Bud
