Question about T-Mobile Dash Smartphone

1 Answer

No sound coming from the T-mobile dash.

Do no suggest anything related to volume or the profile, I've already checked those. Music doesn't play out of the main speaker, speakerphone doesn't work and I can't hear calls. The only way to hear anything is with the headphones. I think the speaker may be blown out and I'm hoping someone will tell me no that it's a software bug and how to fix it.

SOURCE: T-Mobile wing problems

the issue is speaker related....if you arent able to hear anyone when on speaker phone, the speaker is blown, you will need a replacement....call t-mobile or HTC for assistance with this....

xeris: your issue is intermitant....could be a software malfunction, could be a sim card......if you havent tried this with support already, try a master reset or replacing the sim card.....master reset: start, settings, system, clear storage. if that still doesnt work, call tmobile or HTC for a replacement.

SOURCE: T-Mobile Wing no sound........

Don't know if you've tried this yet, but adjust the volume slider on the left side of the phone. A screen will appear. One is for the phone volume and one is for the system volume..Sometimes one can be muted by accident. Also check your system settings under sound..Next, open Windows Media Player and make sure the volume is up. If that doesn't work I don't know what to tell you..I've had this phone for a while and that is one problem I have never seen.

Speakers wont come on

Lets start with the basics.
1. Make sure the power cord to the computer speakers are plugged in. Check at the wall and make sure the power cord is connect to the back of the speaker. If there is a power button make sure it is pressed in the on position. Make sure the volume level is turned up.
2. Check the computer and make sure the sound is not on mute. Turn the volume level up from the computer settings.
3. Try playing some music. If you hear sound you are good to go.
4. If you are not able to hear anything than continue. I would suggest plugging your speakers into you cell phone. Try playing some music from your cell phone.
5. If music plays through the speakers from your cell phone, something is wrong with the computer. If no sound plays with your cell phone then something is wrong with the speakers.
6. If worse comes to worse bring your computer into a computer store. Tell the salesman you want to buy a new set of speakers. You just want to make sure your computer works with the speakers before you buy them.
7. If all else fails, ask a local tech you trust.

I can't hear sound/music from my IPod. I've tried plugging it in the iPod cable an USB cable. The screen shows that it's playing but I can't hear anything

Make sure your volume is turned up on your ipod and in the car make sure nothing else is playing. Also check your instruction book and if all fails take your car back to where you bought it from and explain what has happened also make sure it's properly pluged in!

I'VE SUCCESSFULLY INSTALLED MY SOUND CARD (C-MEDIA CMI8738 FOR XP) AND I SEE NO CONFLICT WITH OTHER DEVICES ON MY PC BUT I DON'T HEAR A SOUND FROM MY HEADSET WHEN I TRY TO TEST TO PLAY A MUSIC....

I'm assuming that the previous audio drivers have been uninstalled. The card must be made aware that you have speakers and/or headphones plugged in. First open Control Panel > Sounds and make sure the volume is set at maximum and the correct setup is selected - stereo , desktop speakers. Then take out whatever you have plugged in it, reboot the pc, wait for everything to stop (antivirus update, the launching of all the programs) then open the C-Media Power Mixer and verify in there that all the volumes are at maximum. Then connect the plug in the green socket of the card - a popup should appear to ask you what you plugged in. If it doesn't then you will have to do it manually:

How to increse volume of nokia 5800 xpressmusic mobile?

What kind of volume you want to increase, you have not mentioned!
well, as a suggestion, if you want to increase your volume while listening music, you can take help of buttons present in left or right side of your mobile.
or, if you want to increase you ringing alert sound then just go to profile, from their choose a correct option to increase the volume of your ringing alert tone.

My son has an lg cookie. there is no sound at all when he makes or recieves a call/ text, plays music /games etc. the volume is up high. it does make a sound with the earphones in though. message comes up...

This would suggest that the handset is in mute mode. You will need to go in to your profile settings and change the profile to loud.

Hope this helps
