Question about Keurig B30 Mini Coffee Maker

Open Question

Is there a fuse inside the B31 mini plus keurig coffee maker?

I inadvertantly plugged the unit into a 230 volt instead of a 110 volt wall socket. The unit is of course not working. Can we replace the fuse if there's one inside the unit??

SOURCE: Need to no know how to take apart!!!!

I hope this reaches you, as I had the same problem. You start with the metal screws attaching the handle. The screws are strange, but you can use a small phillips... you need enough force to turn them, but don't break the plastic. Get the handle off, then look under the housing on top of the needlle... if you look in there, you will see 2 screws... then when housing is removed, you'll see 2 more screws... in other words - carefully keep turning screws until you have the part open that you want. I started with the screws near the needle that is the spout. just remember the steps, so you can reverse and close the thing up. Any problems, you can email me at: bdubois@maharam.com, and thank you for serving our country! If you need a new machine, maybe I can get you one. Barbara

SOURCE: Keurig problem.

Check to see if the gasket around the top "pointy thing" is damaged or missing. That just happened to mine.

Keurig will send you a replacement gasket free of charge. Just call them at 1-866-901-BREW (2739) with your model and serial numbers. The numbers are on the bottom of the machine.

SOURCE: How do I drain water

If leave it for a couple of months without using it, later on when you will need to use it again it by 95% it will be stuck. Their many parts related with water , 2 pumps, valves, jet pasages that even one of this goggled with a sales part then the machine will need complete desaesemble manual descaled and put back together.
So I sugest to find a way so that the machine keep work atleast once a week or even lent to a friend istead of put it on the shelf for long time.

Chances are pretty good that you blew a fuse in the unit. I think it would be worth it for you to take it apart and check. If there is not a fuse you have lost nothing.

Keurig B31 Mini Plus Brewing System not working

There is a transformer that take the 110 voltage and reduces it to 13.8 or 14 volts depending on your unit model, it runs an electronic board or little computer in the coffee maker. It's the brains of the coffee maker. I would say you fried the transformer and possibly the electronic board if the high voltage made it past the transformer. I have replaced the transformer in our sons Keurig and that fixed his problem but he didn't plug it into 220v. The transformer is not expensive, an eBay item at around $15 or so. Taking the unit apart is not an easy thing to do. But if your handy you could figure it out and test the transformer to see it it's putting out the right voltage. Just check the voltage tag of the one that it came with so you can order the right one for your pot.

How do you remove the needle of the Keurig

Don't...just clean the inside to keep deposits from collecting inside and stopping water from entering the tube.

I have a new B31 mini plus keurig brewer and I put the water/coffee in, hit the brew button, it flashes red then turns off after about 2 minutes without brewing the coffee.

MODEL B31: I made the mistake of not running water thru the machine first (the Initial cleaning) and was unable to get water to come thru to the K-cup. Reservoir was hot and full and would not come out. SOLUTION: I took a bendy-straw and completely covered the inside needle coming from the top (that goes into the K-cup) and pushed it up with a fair amount of pressure and blew hard into the straw. Then sucked on the straw (BE CAREFUL IF THE WATER IS HOT) and water and some coffee grounds came out. The brewer worked perfectly after this!!
