Question about Kenmore 98702 Stacked Washer/Dryer
While drying the last few loads of clothes in my Kenmore Stacked Washer/Dryer Combo, a piece of clothing has gotten caught in a gap between the dryer tub and the inside frame of the dryer. It is wearing (burning?) a hole in the clothing.
Could this cause a fire?
The tub will move up and down,
Should it have this much play?
How do you fix this?
There are a couple of guide wheels in the back of the dryer. when they get worn out the tub will have excessive play and will trap clothes inside. Just remove the front cover loosen the belt and remove the drum. the worn wheels will be easy to spot. It is an easy and cheap fix.
