How do I clear an error mesage E000

The E000 ERROR is a fuser problem. this happens when the fuser takes to long to come to the right standby temp.
I think a away around this would be to keep letting it warm up to the point it has hit the right temp by keeping powercycling it. I think though you will need a new fuser

Canon i-sensys MF8188OC with error E000, it can not work, what does it mean?

The error code E000 means that the fuser is not warming up correctly. You can try to unplug the copier for a few minutes. If that dose not fix the poblem, you will need to have the fuser unit replaced

SYSTEM ERROR CODE E000- HOW CAN THIS BE RESET? WHAT DOES THIS ERROR MEAN?

A E000, means that the fuser is not warming up correctly. You can try to unplug the copier and see if it will reset. If it will not reset, you will have to have the fuser unit replaced or the upper fuser heater unit and film. Good Luck

Solution:
Press "Additional Functions",
Press "#", then press the "Right Arrow" button till it says, "Printer",
Then press "Set" then press the "Right Arrow" button again until it says "Printer Reset"
Then press "Set" again, the display will ask you "Yes" or "No".
Press the "Left" arrow for "Yes", then press "Set".
Now, unplug the power cord and wait 5 seconds and plug back in.

If this don't work, get a new fuser.

System Error E000

This is a fuser error, you can try unplugging the machine and plugging it back in and this might reset the error, however if you try this and the error code pops up again, it could be one of the following which would require having the machine serviced and repaired by a professional. The fuser thermistor could be open or the heater lamp could be open or the thermal fuse that prevents the fuser from overheating could be open.

I have an old canon NP2120 Copier. I am getting an error code E000 when I turn it on. Is that something i can fix?

Are you mechanically inclined????
If yes the problem is most likely the fuser lamps are burned out.

This is to take out the fuser unit (the two heat rollers where the paper exits---------let machine cool first!!!!!!!!!!)
1-unplug machine
2-open left side door
3 open front door
4- remove the green knob on the left
5-remove the left side cover ( i beleive you need to take off the two screws on top that hold the glass also)
6-remove the back cover(it is hooked onto the side cover)
7-after removing the side cover look at the fuser left top corner unplug the connector- there should be one on the right also big black wires with a white connector remove the screws that hold the fuser in place
8- once the unit is out there is a lamp that runs the whole lenght of the roller that is the fuser lamp there are wires on each side, remove the lamp bracket holder and one wire, you should be able to tell if it is blown, it will be black and smoky looking not clear.

if you go through these steps you should take advantage and replace the thermistor, thermofuse, claws, and oil roller.
I use to love the 2120 they are one of the best machines Canon put out a true workhorse, do these things and don't worry about hte fuser for another 3-5 years .

If you don't have a parts supplier try precisionroller.com

Canon IR 1600 Error message E000

You'll need to replace the fuser unit. Not exactly the cheapest part of the machine...

Unless, that it, you were taking things apart and happened to unplug something accidentally. If you take the cover off where the paper comes out, look at the connectors directly inside there under the black piece of paper that you'll see. If one of those are pulled out, it could cause the problem.

Otherwise you need to replace the fuser unit.
