Question about Yahoo Mail
I started getting this problem about 6 weeks ago.
I go to my inbox, using the newer version of Yahoo Mail, I get the error message #2.
Since the message description is "Oops, looks like we had a problem getting some new message headers....", I would guess that there is nothing that the user could implement to get around this. I just keep trying until I get my messages. Annoying.
If I leave the email application up, and return sometime later, then it guaranteed that I will see this message on my screen, as Yahoo automatically looks for new message periodically. So, I keep clicking on the Inbox, and eventually I get my messages without any other action on my part.
Yahoo, teamed with AT&T, is my ISP. I pay for their fastest service, and pay the additional $12 annual fee so that I don't have advertisements on my mail page.

It is pssible to get to your mail by changing your account to Yahoo Classic. To do this you will need to go to Yahoo's home page and click on the 'Mail' link. When the "Error" 1st message comes up click OK. When the 2nd messgae appears move the "Error" message over the "having trouble loggin on" message located in the top right of the of the screen. Locate the OK button over this message. Very quickly, and I mean rapid, click the OK button twice. You may need to do this several times to time it right - it took me three times, When Yahoo's solutions appear just click in the Classic option. I am now back in touch witth the world and although it hasn't resolved Yahoo's problem yoou will, at long last be in touch. I'm not claiming to be a problem solver, I found this in Yahoo's answers.

I had the same problem, but what I did was so helpful. I changed my mail to "Mail Classic" and I have no problem. I hope it works for you, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I Can't access my e-mail service past 3days. There is a message from the Yahoo Team that begins "Sorry for the inconvenience, you've stumbled upon a temporary problem we're having with the e-mail service". It then advises possible courses of action, all of which I've tried, including the Link to Customer Care at Error 5

Please clean your inbox by deleting unnecessury emails, unnecessury mails with attachment must should be deleted. again check you upgraded your flash player....If your net connection is slow you may face the issue also....I think you got my point....Thanks for using Fixya
