SOURCE: Remove phone from bluetooth handsfree car unit's memory

Sorry but what do you mean by?:- 'The car unit will not allow me to use the colour previously used' It should be the phone with the memory and the search facility for finding your car headset device, not the device looking for the phone. Once you have searched for new devices and found the headset with a different phone, the headset will not be able to connect with more than one device and should lose the old phone connection.

SOURCE: AVH -P5900DVD /CD-BTB200 Bluetooth Connection

I just solved this problem myself. The key is to gain access to the function menu, which was grayed out on mine. On my stereo, I put in a DVD bypass, whish i had to turn on to allow the function key to work. If you do not have a bypass in place, then try setting the parking brake in the same way you do to watch movies on your dvd player.

My pioneer avh 3200bt says memory full when I set up my Bluetooth

You have to delete some phones. This only stores 5 and doesn't delete them as you add new ones. Go do phone, configure, and touch the phones that are no longer used in your car. Delete them. You can now add your new phone.

My nokia 5700 cant accept files via bluetooth transfer... it says memory full. even after deleting some songs

your phone memory is full... if you are transfering huge file then it won't be accpted...i recomande you to go
menu>>message>>option>>setting>>other>>memory in use...
try to change it from 'phone memory' to your 'memory card'..
it will ask u to copy the new msg to memory, so press yes and yes for to save the original message.
all ur message will be copied to the memory card...now you can recieve more file depending on the memory available in your memory card.

There is still a problem here!!!! When you will connect your mobile to a pc it will say "unable to activate data transfer mode ...bla bla bla...." so you will have to change memory in use option everytime to phone memory then try to connect it to ur pc...
thanks.. regard from Nireshis

Text memory full states on notification cant receive texts but i have no messages saved so i st .arted clearing out stuff tha had a storage i still have full memory. HELP PLEASE

Dear Sir\Madam,
I had a similar problem, and I was able to solve the problem by simply following the below steps. 1. If probably your phone has a bluetooth device and you have been receiving gallery files(i.e. Photos, Musics or Videos) via bluetooth, note that this files are stored too on your phone memory not the memory cards and this may consume space on the phone memory. So, try and move those files that you received via bluetooth in your received folder on your phone memory to the location of your memory card. This may probably free the space on your phone. 2. if you have been receiving bluetooth files as a message into your phone depending on the type of phone you are using, simply save them into your memory card by selecting the memory card path and delete them after saving so as to free space on the phone memory. Then try to delete as well some unwanted or junk messages from your phone in have more space on your phone memory.
Hope the information actually help. Regards
