The solonoid on the fill valve is stuck open. you can take the valve apart and see if there is any sand or small pebble blocking it from closing. if so, clean it and re-assemble the valve and test it. if that does not fix it, you will have to replace the fill valve. it is not difficult to replace the valve. let me know if this solves your problem. shane

You have a faulty fill valve

The valves open when the machine requires water, then when power is removed they seat back down again and use the incoming water pressure to hold that seal

There is probably a bit of dirt under the seal and this will allow water to slowly fill the machine

You can strip out and strip down some valves but for the cost it is just as easy to replace them

If you machine is both hot and cold fill then you need to turn off one of the supplies (Cold) after you have used the machine and see if it stops the problem

If it does then it is the Cold Valve if it soes not then it is the Hot one

They are easy to replace and can be bought from dealers or thrird party suppliers

This would be your water inlet valves. located behind the waher where the water hoses attach to. I suggest you just replace them, they may be coroded and woul cheaper to replace. They are not hard to do. Just turn water of bout hoses and remove the old and take it to an appliance store and get a replacement.

Uses to much water, fiils half way up the glass with water///and really uses alot of water on express wash

Set the washer with a low water level settting to confirm if the clothes are soaked in , if the water level does not go down it is possible that the water level pressure switch is faulty.

I have water in my front loader when empty

Water is siphoning back in! Make sure there is a siphon break or vent at the end of your drain hose to stop this problem for sure.

My washer fills VERY slowly and will not stop filling after cycle

It sounds like the water inlet valve is stuck partially open and needs to be replaced. It's located on the back of the machine where the hoses attach.

Incomplete wash cycle.

It sounds as if you have something acting as a flap causing the restriction. You should take the hose that leads from the tub to the pump off and see if there is anything just inside the tub. I have noticed that alot times you could have a coin that blocks the opening. You may have to remove the inner tub to remove anything in there

After washing cylce complete; 3-4 inches of water is left

it sounds as tho water is getting intyo machine after use. there are 2 possible causes.
either
inlet valve leaking. turn water off and see if this stops water accumulating. if it does, then you need to replace valve to cure.
or
if drain is plumbed into spigot on sink trap then every time you drain sink, some of the water goes down the drain hose.
to cure, take the drain hose up as high as possible in a swan neck

If your washer fills but the timer cycle doesn't advance-replace the timer. If your washer fills the time cycle advance, and still not agitating your agitator is at fault.

My washer stops!

You should check and clean the outgoing water screen to make sure your washer can drain properly. Sounds like you have a restriction in your system.. could be a filter screen or the pump itself. Try the screen first and then cycle a load of wash without any clothes in it to see if it empties the drum completely.
Hope that helps...
