Had a problem similar to this with this frig and the problem was a bad mother board that kept the fans from operating correctly to disperse the temperature. I woould actually get stalagtites forming from the warmer top shelves to the colder lower shelves. Repaire under extended warantee.

It appears that your refrigerator is missing defrost. It will be difficult for anyone to provide photos of your defrost heater. I recommend that you unplug long enough to allow defrost to begin manually so we can get freezer door open and remove frozen goods long enough to place somewhere safe until we examine the defrost heater and defrost thermostat. At this point the only pictures will be the ones you email me. This appears to be a new breed of Profile from GE. If you would like to attempt this please let me know. The defrost heater is part number WR50X10043 but that means nothing until we do some testing, Let me Know, Sea Breeze

SOURCE: warm temperture freeze
Check if you are getting power to freezer Check if compressor is running
Check if condenser and evaporator fans are runing
Check all controls someone might have moved one
Chec the cold control could be bad not turning it on you could put a clip lead across the connections and see if it comes on.
Feel the lines on the compressor one should be real hot the other should be cool.
Check evaporator frost should be all across it if frost halfway freon could be low.
Be sure it is not in the defrost cycle it will do this every so many hours depending on where it is set Hope some of this helps
