My Sony bravia tv keeps losing connection to the Media server (computer) I can reconnect but it keeps happening randomly daily Please help

Hi there.
I assume that you are connecting wirelessly. The most common problem is that the TV is at the outermost range of the wireless signal from your router/AP. try moving the router/AP closer to the TV. However I would recommend that you use a lan cable rather as this is a more reliable connection. You will also need to check your network settings. To keep the network connection more stable make sure both the TV and media server have static IPs, especially the server.

Duodvr 625 loses guide

deemary911,

If the guide isn't updating then the timers will not fire correctly. The guide should update every night during it's updates, however if it's losing signal it may not update at all.

Go to the Main Menu > System Setup > Installation > Point Dish then select "Check Switch" then "Test". This will test the satellite signal to be sure there are no problems. If it finisheds and no messages come up, exit out and see if the problem continues. If it does or you get any messages about fewer satellites found, let me know!

D Link Wireless N router keeps having to be re-set

I've seen this on a router that was broadcasting very little signal. (in my case the next day it died. When the laptop is running move away from your router and try to determine where it loses signal strength. A router is good from the factory for about 200 feet with no obstructions. In most homes I give them 30 to 40 feet. Be aware that windows and glass doors nowdays use a metal mylar film between the glass to reduce infrared rays. If you lose the signal very soon then I'd say the router is dying.

Good Luck
