Reboot your Mac & hold the F12 key as the Mac reboots. Keep holding it until the Mac ejects your CD.

Is there a button on the key board to eject a cd from slot load cd player

It depends on the type of keyboard you are using. If you are using a keyboard which have multimedia buttons, you can eject the CD from player, other wise you can not do this.

I want to eject cd from cd rom apple system imac

To eject a CD/DVD that is not recognized by your computer, boot up while holding down the eject button on your keyboard, and continue to hold down eject until the disk ejects.

If this does not work, hold down your mouse button while booting up in the same way.

If neither of these work, open Terminal and type in the following:

drutil tray eject

If your disc does still not eject, your optical drive likely needs repair.

Force Remove a DVD

Hello,
Try to eject a disc using the eject icon in the "Devices" section of your Mac "Sidebar" or using the eject key on your Mac keyboard. If the disc refuses to unmount and eject, move on to Step 2.
Navigate in an open Finder window to "Applications/Utilities" and double-click "Disc Utilities" to launch the application
In the list of available discs, on the left-hand side of the "Disc Utilities" application window, select the mounted CD or DVD2_bing.gif with a single-click.
On the top of the "Disc Utilities" window, single-click the "Unmount" button. Your disc will unmount and be ejected.
Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.

Blueberry iMac with slot-loading CD rom drive will

It would be very difficult to open up the imac to retrieve the disc as the CD drive is totally enclosed and would probably result in it not be functional after removing the disk. Have a look at the following article on the apple website
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3007?viewlocale=en_US as it does indicate that the slot loading imac does have a hole for paperclip ejection. You could also try opening up disk utility and and clicking on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject. Hope this helps.

My CD rom is not opening from keyboard when i press the key of eject and closing and i i have hp a6220.me

Eject is a extra key and not a part of standard keyboard layout. There should be a software provided for the keyboard which should be installed to enable the eject key. If you already done so, try uninstalling the same and reinstall
