are you talking about in the task bar at the bottom or an add-on like weather bug.

if you running an add-on it's possible your anti-virus disabled it.

or your pop-up blocker is preventing it from opening.

if you have a pop up blocker, disable it and restrat see if it comes on. in your anti-virus you can allow it to run, if the anti-virus disabled it you can reinstall the add-on and enter an exception in your anti-virus program.

check your virus control and pop up blocker.

My desk top computer has booting problem

The F1 or F2 takes you into the BIOS setting.
The problem could be a flat BIOS battery and the Date & Time needs to be set to the current date & time.
Replacing the BIOS battery with a new one will fix this problem. When you insert the new battery go into the BIOS setting and set the Date & Time.

The HTC sense display with the time date and weather disappeared from my home screen and I want it back. It was like a live wallpaper that changed with the weather.

Touch and hold a blank space on the screen and you will get options to add Applications, widget , settings etc . Select widget and select Clock ( htc ) , swipe towards your right and find the one that you are looking for .
Thumps up if this has helped .

Clock in computer will not maintain time and date

Yes it very probably is the CMOS battery, time is kept counting electric pulses, when the computer is turned on there is power and memory to do this, but when it is turned off it relays on the battery to keep this an some other settings, maybe you're receiving a warning at boot time. Check this guide for replacing such batteries:
