How to repair dvd player v zon says wrong disc

Hi Vzon DVD Player,
Before you fix anything, you need to troubleshoot the problem first to know what needs fixing. Since DVD players can play different kind of media formats like Audio CD, VCD, mp3, etc, please try the following
1. Turn on the DVD player and set the program to DVD. some player needs to be setup due to multiple functionality (can play mp3 on flash drive, etc..)
2. insert different Media CD as mentioned above if your player will play them. (if they play, try to insert the DVD you want to play)
3. Try different DVD disc
4. If all the above don't work, try to clean the laser head using the standard disc cleaner.
5. retry the DVD disc
6. If the player still don't play your DVD, probable issue would be the laser head or the disc motor.
7. Please bring them to you nearest Electronic repair shop for further assessment.

Good luck and thanks!

I keep having failed burn sessions it says "Power Calibration error" what and how can I fix that

Their could be several possible reasons and solutions for the above error, basically what is happening is for some reason the CD/DVD burning software is unable to determine the Optimum Power Calibration rate (a small pre-burn test to determine optimal laser power for writing), resulting a disk burn failure. There is no easy way to pinpoint the exact reason, so try all the possible fixes from top to bottom (easy to hard) and see what works:
Try using different brands of quality blank media, most common reason for such error's is cheap blank media.
Try burning at lower speeds (Highly effective).
If this fails try a different burning software

I bought my Phillips CDR560 about 4 years ago and probably used it no more than a dozen times. For the past couple of years it has been in the loft unused. I tried to use it the other day and I kept...

OPC (Optical Power Calibration) errors are related to the drive trying to test how strong to make the burning laser. If you recieve this error, the piece of media you are using may have problems. Try different blank media.

Using Premiere Elements I've burned a couple of different videos onto DVD's to run on my TV. they have hiccups in the audio at just about the same place. could this be 1) the burn process 2) my dvd player...

Its not the fault of your media, or ur dvd player. It is the matter of the burning process so don't bother about ur media or player. try to burn not exact the same amount of stuffs as exact as space in DVD. pls leave some space for ur writer so that it can place the supporting stuffs to burn ur stuffs properly.

Hi I have an LG DVD±RW, it used to work properly but few days ago i tried to burn an iso. image it didn't work Device: [1:0:0] HL-DT-ST-DVD-RAM GSA-H55N 1.02(E:) (ATA) Firmware Version: 1.02...

According to the log file, there was a spindle servo failure. The spindle servo is responsible for maintaining rotational speed accuracy. I'd say your drive is pretty much dead. See if you can read a disk in the drive. I wouldn't be surprised if it had a tough time just reading files.

Mysterious "ring" on burned DVD causes playback to freeze.

Is the image preponderantly encoded in PAL? Majority PAL and some NTSC? Or fully NTSC? Used transcoding presets? Transcoded project before you built to DVD? Note: Always run "TEST" before burning (to save plastic trees)? Determined whether system or project is faulty? Tested the DVD drive? Tried burning using another application? Closed all background-running resource hogs and applications? Did the project size increase the capacity size of the disk? Used a lower write speed? Disabled startup items and services? DMA: enabled? Updated Windows? Media compatibility? System requirements attained? Updated your application? Solved the issue(s); then write it down and share it with others. Still having issues? Revert back to the computer's factory settings and rebuild, upgrade, or invest in a high-end system and buy the full version of Nero 9, with all the plug-in features....and so forth. If time is money, the latter solution is your best bet. If money is an issue, then it requires trench warfare - that is, much research, deductive reasoning and time investment to isolate your specific problem...start by analyzing your source, and then your target...cause/effect relationship...you'll conquer all problems, eventually...political machinations aside. Old Tapes work new ones don't

I'm having this exact same issue and according to the DELL tech it is common. What I had to do is keep using the tapes until they started passing. I bought 2 brand new cleaning tapes and ran two cleaning jobs before it would pass. My daily tapes are passing, and after several retrys my weekly tapes are passing. Since my Monthly tapes occur so infrequently, I'm just taking one of the Daily tapes out of the rotation and using a Monthly tape until it passes. It's either this or buy a new tape drive.

CD/DVD Combo Drive Just Not Burning DVD

I had problems with tsstcorp in my drive. The software you are using won't work. You need to try sonic or roxio. I had the same problem. Do you have a dell? if so download the updates from the support website. Try a different software because a reinstall of xp should get rid of bugs in system. It sounds like a software issue though.
