Have a LG 47 inch tv. 47ln5750. When I power on the LG appears on screen then shuts off. took off the back cover and when I powered on I could see the LEDs flash. problem be led board? Or Led strips?

I have a 55" lg flat screen tv. All a sudden i turned it on and the screen was black. You can see a little bit of it on the screen but. Very light. I tried messing with the setting didnt work.

I have a Lg LED tv model 47LN5750 that turns on but then stays on the LG "lifes good" screen and will not do anything more. what could be wrong?

I have a LG 47LN5750. No picture, sound yes, I see menu when using the flashlight test and have no back lights showing. please help with my next steps in fixing this issue. Just happened this morning.


What you are describing is common in these sets. The power unit tends to cause the LED backlights to fail. It is a 50 dollar parts cost but you have to upgrade the firmware to prevent it from happening again

Back - light problem? Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Some model sets; especially LED back-lighted types; the back-light inverter circuit will be part of the main power supply board [SMPS]. In such cases, the power supply board might need replacement.
