SOURCE: Washing Machine keeps filling with water

Teresa

Check the drain hose. if the end of the hose is too low it will siphon water continously while the washer is trying to fill and will cause the problem you describe.

SOURCE: washing machine continues to fill when starts

If it starts to agitate, that tell us that the water level switch has been satisfied. Unless the electrical contacts are fried inside the level switch (extremely rare) you need to replace the water inlet valve. It is the part the water supply hoses screw onto on back of the machine.

SOURCE: My washing machine keeps shutting down and blowing a fuse.

You must have a short circuit ,try disconnecting things start with the heater element, disconnect one wire see if it still blows...next try motor plug, until the fault clears at least this tells you what the problem part is.....

SOURCE: My washing machine is blowing my fuse!!

either the motor start capacitor on the machines motor is shorted, the motor winding itself is grounding itself out to the case and shorting or you may have a bare wire touching the metallic frame in the machine

SOURCE: does anyone know how to check a fuse in my Bosch Maxx 1000 washing machine??

Try it in a different socket as it may not be the machine. The machine would have been factory fitted with a moulded plug, lift out the middle section and try a new fuse. If the unit failed after filling then possibly you have a short on the wash heater..you could verify this if you get power by setting a cold cycle or rinse and see if if completes it. Please also check that the consumer unit (main fuse box) has not been triggered.

Machine will not start. Timer dial clicks when it is pulled out, instead of starting.

If the lid switch is defective, your washer can't spin and may not function at all. The switch is inside the washing machine main housing near the door frame. Often you have to raise or open the top or front of the washer to get to the switch. If it's defective, you need to replace it. Some machines have a special lid-switch fuse near the lid switch, inside the control panel. If this fuse blows, the unit won't fill with water until you replace the fuse.Replace the lid switch with this part.

When the machine is started it fills with water,it then trys to turn and the fuse blows.

Check underneath if you can turn the motor easily by hand. It is probably the bearing/s that is/are ceasing up which causes the motor to strain and overheat and blow the fuse.

Jackson jpx-300. No water flow. No kinks in water

What you are hearing turning is the pump motor. The manual feature is for deliming the machine and and locks the unit in wash mode only.

It is likely your fill solenoid has malfunctioned if no water is entering the tank in a normal cycle.

Washer was in fill cycle and stopped

You've got a short circuit somewhere in that electrical circuit.

First, unplug the washing machine.
Replace the fuse. If it doesn't blow immediately, then there is likely a short in the washing machine, and from what you describe, it's in the motor.
If it blows, then there is something wrong in that circuit, and you can likely rule out the washing machine. Check all devices on that particular circuit, of which there can be a number of plugs.
