Question about Sony Televison & Video
We have moved and no longer have an aerial but do have a dish. Have hooked everything up but cannot get any channels to auto tune and get a message 'No Signal'
Hi you will need an aerial, you could use a indoor one for the time being

Testimonial: "Thanks Shaun! After doing a bit more investigating I worked it out that we either needed an aerial or a new satellite FreeView box. Why would one box possibly be able to do both?! Go figure!!"
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Check the connections between the cable box and the TV. If you are using scart check the connector is in squarely if using rgb or composite you need a separate audio connection using the red and white phon sockets.

SOURCE: how do you tune in
You require a satelite decoder/receiver for your dish and an aerial for your TV.
The choice is yours. Plug a satelite receiver, for freesat, into the A/V input on the TV or have an aerial installed for freeview.

It to do with the analogue being turned off and the digital changeover taking up new channels using different standard. I think that the free part can be updated via the CI clot.
