I would like to clarify that mine is making ice but beeping every 10 minutes or so, its not out of water or blocked by ice.

  • paconc Jun 19, 2009

any other guru's out there, it is beeping right now and i want to stop it from doing that while making ice.

  • paconc Jun 19, 2009

as far as i can see there are no magnets in the door, further to this the machine is just over 100£, bring it to a shop to replace magnets? might as well toss it of the balcanoy. there appears to be a menu on top with alarm bell buttens etc, does anybody know if you can disable this function or actualy knows the machine i am talking about?

  • paconc Jun 19, 2009

I turned the machine on its back, this is what i was able to find: model: JS-ZBI-A-J

Not sure how this work, do you need to post to a new expert with new info to get a response on new info?

  • paconc Jun 20, 2009

I would prefer not to "cut" wires, there must be a way on top tru the "menu" to stop this?

  • paconc Jun 20, 2009

thanks, i understand the beep when the water is lo or to much ice this is not the case so it does not explain the beeping

  • paconc Jun 20, 2009

Hi,

Palm springs ice cube maker is a product of "Whynter".

They never introduced any special user manual. The user manual is not available online or on their website.

As of now, the best option :-

Check the below troubleshoot page if that could solve the issue

http://whynter.com/CustomerSupport.htm#02

Unless email or call them for further questions :-

nfo@whynter.com and phone number is 866-WHYNTER.

they would respond within 48 hours.

Thanks for using "Fixya"

Sir,
This is the default settings in the system. You can't remove/stop that beep sound. also below the two possible causes for beep sound.
This is the add water indicator - This light will be lit along with a long beeping sound to indicate water is required in the unit. Add water and press the ‘’STOP’’ then the ‘’ START’’ button to restart the Ice maker, or, when the water has reached the fill line the Ice maker will restart automatically. Icefull: This is the ice full indicator. This light will come on with 2 beeps ‘’DI, DI’’ when the ice has reached the maximum capacity of the storage tray. Press the ‘’STOP’’ then the ‘’ START’’ button to restart the Ice Maker after some of the ice has been scooped away. The Ice Maker will not make any more ice until the excess ice has been removed.

Thanks Good Luck

Since you ice maker doing good you may cut first the wire to the beeper. So that we can figure out what the reason triggering it. Clean the ice maker. check the water pressure.

Its a common problem.dont misguide it or link it to icemaking. its actually the faulty door magnets causing this.if the door magnets are faulty.it detects that the door is not closed and beeps giving the warning to close the door. to fix the problem just get the door magnets replaced.i have solved this problem for many of my clients. its a common problem, nothing to worry.
please do accept and rate this solution positively

No heat from my Electrolux oven fan is running but oven light not working the oven is only six months old

Thank you for your inquiry, friend!

Based off the information you have provided your Electrolux oven is not heating properly. I would recommend performing a reset on your range which you can do by disconnecting power from it for ten minutes. If that does not help to correct your issue it could be a faulty element or control panel. I understand your range is only six months old typically the warranty for a range is one year. I would contact the manufacturer for proper resolution regarding a warranty. I hope this is helpful. -Matt

Acer veriton beeps six times once i plug in the power cord, what is the problem?

OK YOU NEED TO FIND OUT YOUR BIOS type (manufacturer and version)
You mght find it by asking Acer support (you could also ask what the six beeps means straight off).
Then go here
http://www.bioscentral.com/
and see if can the beep code list for your BIOS.
(one notice board post I read read for the G3620 model explained that mean the keyboard IC was defective; I don't know wheyther it is possible to replace this I any case)

My computer peeps six times and light a/c green b/d yeloow

Six beeps is usually a keyboard controller error. Also make sure it isn't three beeps, then a pause and then three beeps. This is a different problem. You can consult the manual for the motherboard/pc to determine what the exact beeps mean for your system. Another thing to try is to pull the power, leave it unplugged for 30seconds before plugging it back it. -Ravi Shanghavi

Same problem - The handle broke off when opening. Microwave less than 6 months old. Cheap plastic handle and cheap plastic clips hold it together.

Since it's less than six months old, it will be under warranty.

You can contact the manufacturer for free repair.

Just look up their contact information in your owner's manual.

Six beeps at post and no joy with boot up

The exact meaning of the beeps for Dell depends on their... rhythm.

http://www.nullamatix.com/dell-diagnostic-beep-code-troublshooting-chart/

Six beeps might indicate a simple CMOS failure caused by a bad battery, which is easy to replace.

Have a two month old 18-270 Tamron lens. Used it a

If it's only two months old then it's still under the manufacturer's warranty so send it back to Tamron. I can't tell you where to send it as you haven't said which country you're in. Tamron value their reputation and usually provide excellent after-sales care.

If you're in the UK you additionally have Sale of Goods Act protection for up to six years in England and Wales and five years in Scotland. Either way, the Act allows you to demand a full refund or replacement from the retailer; I'd suggest a refund as bad lenses often come in batches and a different supplier is less likely to have one from the same production batch.

Note that any attempt to fix the lens other than by normal use of the lens and camera controls may completely remove your warranty benefits or consumer protection.

My dvd player says no disk when there is on in it it is not even a year old

HI, if this unit is less than six months old, it should be returned immediately. the optical lens assembly has failed. it may be a possible manufacturing defect if the unit is only 3 months old. if its more than 3 months old, you will be responsible for this replacement of the optical lens assembly unfortunately.

Tv sound but screen is black ,the tv is 4 month old where do I take it to be service in New Orleans

If the TV is only 4 months old, you should be able to call the manufacturer and speak to a service tech. and have the TV repaired under warranty. They will instruct you as to where to take the TV. Usually TV's will carry at least a 1yr. warranty. The manufacturer's phone number will be in the owner's manual, usually toward the back of the manual. If you don't have the manual, you can go online to the manufacturer's website and get the contact number under "Support" or "Contact Us". Hope this helps

Olympus Stylus 730 Digital - Won't work 60 days old

I'm having the exact same problem. I was in the middle of zooming on a shot and it froze, so I turned the camera off and on, and now I get the 5-chimes+Zoom Error screen. This is nuts, I've only had the thing for six months, and it was $250 (got the Stylus 730). I *think* I got a replacement plan so that's good. But still... I hope circuit city lets me get a different brand b/c I'm not happy with this now. The only problem I had before was the HORRID shutter delay. I want a model that doesn't have that problem .
