SOURCE: Leak from dishwasher fill funnel

Hi . the air gap is required by law, to have it there.to stop water in the tub, to end up in your water system, which would never happen. try setting the pressure down, and use the dishwasher. it should work fine . turn down taps ,till it stops leaking . should be ok

SOURCE: Bosch dishwasher is leaking fresh water from water inlet assembly

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. If you have nuisance water leaks around the base of your dishwasher, you may be using a detergent that is causing too much suds. Cut back on the amount of detergent you use, and see if that makes a difference.

Water that spills through the door vent is usually caused by improperly loading dishes. Leaks from the door itself may be caused by a faulty door gasket or door tightness adjustment. you should check the main tub seal, the door latch, the door gasket, the water-inlet valve, and the fill and drain hoses.

Also make sure the dishwasher is sitting level (you can adjust the front feet up or down, and many units have some type of levelers at the rear).

Water under the dishwasher may be originating from a leaky hose or loose hose connection. Remove the lower front panel, and check the hoses. The pump seal may be defective, too; replacing this is a job for an appliance repairperson.

An older dishwasher may corrode at the bottom, but this is fairly uncommon. If this is the case with your dishwasher, it's time for a new one.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee

SOURCE: BOSCH SMS4472GB/20 DISHWASHER water leaking

Remove the side and top panels of the machine.

On the left hand side you will see a clear plastic panel full of tubes and small tanks. This is the metering tank. At the bottom left of this unit, is a black pipe held on with a clip. There will almost definately be a blockage between this point and the sump. You can either buy and fit a new pipe or do what I did with mine, which was to remove it and clean it with hot water and a bottle brush. Seems to work like new again now.

You'll have to get the machine onto it's right side to remove the lower end of the black pipe from the sump. I drained as much excess water as possible out of the machine by sitting it on bricks, tilting it to the left and catching the water in a dish as it came out of the float hole. Some will also come out of the funny plastic tube which runs across the top of the machine - I carefully removed this first and caught this water in a pan.

Drain the waste pipe and disconnect the water supply.

Replace the right side casing on to protect the feed to the upper spray unit and put the machine on it's right hand side. Once the machine is on its right hand side, fin the water inlet valve and carefully remove its bracket from the chasis of the machine. You will need cross head and a torx screwdrivers - one for each screw. Once this is loosened, push some of the water supply pipe into the machine so you can move the bracket to the right a little to gaine access to the waste pipe. Remove this by removing the two gold coloured screws. This should now give you easy access to the sump end of the black pipe which lead from the metering tank. Remove this and clean it out. Pop all the parts back, stand you machine upright. Reconnect the watre supply and the waste and give it a rinse cycle to test - number 1 on the dial.

Hope this helps. My apologies if any of the take apart is not completely accurate - I don't want to turn my machine over again to check!

My Bosch classixx washing machine is overflowing

Bad water pressure switch or bad water inlet valve? does it have or leak water in the tub when not in use? ( inlet valve) sometimes the pressure switch tube has a hole or blockage in it and will not have the pressure needed to open diaphram and go into wash cycle and it may overflow

BOSCH SHE43RF5UC fills with water during off periods

You are correct. The inlet water valve is leaking. It might be worn or have debris stuck in it. There is a very small chance that the electrical signal from the controller is letting a small amount of current in and holding it open. To rule out this problem you can uplug the machine and see if it stops filling. Otherwise just replace the valve. IT is not hard to do.

96 aurora, leaking engine coolant. What could be the problem?

Depends on where it is leaking. If from the water pump, it's seal has failed and must be replaced. If from a hose, same thing, replace it. If from the radiator, have it fixed at a radiator shop or replace it (probably cheaper).

If it leaks after getting warm, it is probably water pump. There is a small weep hole on the bottom of the pump shaft housing. You will be able to see where water is leaking out with engine off. Good luck.

Radator leak has a hole in it water is running out when you shut the car off

Most auto parts have stop leak for radiators, the recommendation is that you empty the radiator of coolant, pour the stop leak in the radiator and then fill with water. then run engine until it gets hot, there is a catalyst like liquid glass in the stop leak that expands with heat, but as it flows out any hole will turn soild, and stop the leak.once the leak is stopped and the car cools down, drain the water and fill with the proper level of coolant. but if the hole is to big may require some repair from a radiator shop. good luck!

I HAVE A LEAK AT THE WATER-INLET SYSTEM, THE LEAKING OCCURS WHEN THE THE DISHWASHER STARTS. THE VENT HOLES ON THE TOP OF THE INLET SYSTEM WATER SQUIRTS OUT DURNING THE FILING PROCESS.

its just the air-gap on the inlet system, sometimes a slug of debris gets near the air-hole in the side of this gap and redirects the water flow, just easily run a screw driver of the right size down the water tube and then try filling it again and see if this helped

Bosch Axxis WFL 2060 washer leaks

Hi. Check the doorseal by lifting the folded lip which faces toward the drum opening. Use a torch and carefully examine the doorseal. It may have a small hole which is hard to see at first.
If door seal is ok remove top of machine and check inlet valve. Turn power off and with your hand examine the inlet water valve. If it feels damp on the solenoid then it leaks from there and finds its way around to the front of the machine though the frame work. This leak happens due to to much water pressure at your laundry taps. If so install a pressure reducing valve before the water inlet hose and replace the water inlet valve in the machine as it is now faulty.

Dishwasher will not take in water

On bosch dishwasher if the base senses a water leak the unit will not fill & the drain pump will come on. I recommend checking for water in the base & locating the source of the leak if you see water in the base. Other possibilities; fill switch, water level switch or water valve. There is no reset for this problem.

Bosch dishwasher SHU4326uc/u12 is leaking from the door. How to change low door sealer?

I have had the same problem and finally stumbled upon the answer today!

If you are looking inside your dishwasher, look mid way up the right side wall and there is a valve/hole...if that hole is covered up (e.g. cutting board, ect) it will cause water leakage.

Weird huh? But that recommendation is coming straight from the Bosch headquarters in Canada. I would not have believed it otherwise, but I have read this solution twice, and now myself, have not had a leak since I stopped placing things over that hole! My model is SHU3326UC.
