Do a nozzle check and see what comes out.It should be under a maintenance tab on the front control panel LCD.If nothing comes out it more than likely has not been used in awhile and the head needs cleaning. If this is the case and you get it to print again do a sample page at least once a week to stop this from occurring again.

    Why only one thumbs up.

The ink is clogged,a bad head or faulty printer.

I do not have a wand that will make your printer magically work.

It appears that some ink nozzles are blocked or not seated properly.

Go to the Epson support site below and enter Epson WorkForce 600 as your model. Then go to Troubleshooting Guide in the list on the right of the web page

Why doesn't my black ink work in my Epson WorkForce 600 series after replacing the black ink cartridge?

The Epson printer may only use genuine ink cartridges which contain a chip so that you cannot fill the cartridge with ink or use non genuine ink cartridges.

OR

Inkjet printers need to be used frequently to prevent ink drying out and blocking the print head nozzles.
If the print head cleaning maintenance routine does not clear the blockages, then print head needs replacing, but it may be expensive.
It may be more cost effective to buy a later model and better printer than replace the print head.

Hello, Rvarnett -

I see someone posted a similar question about the Epson Workforce 600 on a different repair help website in 2012. Read the solutions provided there:

Do you know how old the printer is - how long you have owned and used it?

It MAY just be time to purchase a replacement printer and send the Epson Workforce 600 to electronics recycling. My personal experience with Epson printers, and I have owned more than one, is that they do not seem to last much past 6 years before they do not work properly.

Try print head cleaning several times(3-4 times). Print nozzle check to see results. If the same problem-contact SC for deep cleaning.
