Question about Samsung HP-R5072 50 in. Plasma HDTV
When I first bought the TV the image was crispy and clear at all times, now I have to let the tv warm up before the image is clear again, if the tv is cold, most of the screen get grainy and parts of the images slowly fade away for a few seconds after the image has change, after 10-15 minutes of the tv being on, it fixes it self, but It has become very annoying to have to wait until the image is back to normal every time I turn it on before I can watch a movie, any suggestions on how to fix this?
I had the same problem. Except mine never got better after the tv warmed up. I fortunately I still have my manufacturers warranty and Samsung sent a guy out within a few days. He replaced a few parts which really didn't do anything. However what he did that was interesting was on two circuit boards. One on the mid left and the other on the mid right. Apparently there is a nob or something he tweaked on each panel that cleared the grainy image right up. What he told me was that the it is basically pixels that are not turning off in sync. adjusting the two circuit boards syncs the pixels to turn on and off at the same time.
