Valliant boiler powers off - KDS Valiant 6380iPTD-01 Notebook

Hi, what model Valliant and are there any fault codes showing?

Could be divertor valve is faulty , stuck in Hot Water mode

Match it up with the factory one and see if it still happens.

f1 means failed to fire check you have gas to bolirt and check water leval on boiler 1.5 bar

Turn the power off at the wall , wait 60 seconds and the boiler will automatically reset.

Modern boilers are complex re safety and the boiler will only start if the exhaust fan is running and is up to speed .

The vacuum caused by the fan trips a switch and allows ignition to continue

If the pilot light does not come on it does not warm up the thermocouple which turns on the main gas valve.

If you go to the Valliant website they will supply you with a user guide

My Valliant Ecotec Pro Combi Boiler (approx 4 years old) does not start up. The fault code showing is F.22. I would be grateful if you could let me know what the problem is and obv how it can be fixed. Thanks and regards, Joanne Byne

most boiler manufacturers now days have downloadable manuals on there web sites.
just type in "vailant boilers" and flix through until you find the correct page. if they haven't a download you can request a copy on the "contact us" page .

need more info about your system is your stat heating only if yes r and w on stat go to two wires at the boiler T1 and T2. You may have some other controls and would have to list them all.
