SOURCE: Bass Flow Tube

Carefully pry off the gray metal mesh covering the speaker. Don't pry on the plastic ring - you have to remove the metal mesh from the plastic. Remove the six screws holding the speaker in place, and remove the speaker. Finally, re-glue the tube into the port. Wait for the glue to cure before turning the speakers on again.

SOURCE: g9 won't start screw rattle inside sounds

This sounds like the typical G9 no power loose screw scenario. This is really common on the G7 and the G9 model. The place for service on these is www.camerasandparts.com They only service the Canon Powershots and they are excellent for help with these. The nice thing with them is they do the fix to those internal screws so it doesn't re-occur on the camera. If you need help with a Powershot problem, they're the place. They have your Canon G9 no power service on their site. All the best looking after it, there great if you need help with one of these.

SOURCE: My Bose rc28t1-27 remote feels

Hi mjlfield,

That rattling sound is the antenna core broken loose from the board. It needs to be re soldered back on. The case is snapped together very hard and takes a lot of squeezing to get it apart. You will also need a soldering iron to solder the antenna back on.

Hope this helps.

Thank you for using FixYa.

How to take apart Sony NSGMR1 remote control

You may have the diode loose or a crystal some use on the board.

look aside from back in bottom of battery compartment for more screws.

Many of the remotes even with screws are snapped together--look at the seam in the side around the remote--start at the bottom on one side and probe with a small screwdriver--insert into the seam and slide to try to free the first locking tab--pull on it(the case halves) and slide the driver slowly along the seam to unsnap all the tabs.

You may cause some slight chips or scratches in the process and that is normal--as you get the tabs released pull up on cover until the unit comes open.

Inside there are generally the two cover sides, the board, and the rubber like mat with all the buttons.

Take your time as only other choice is to buy a new remote which I suspect will be expensive.

Let me know if get it apart or have problems doing this.

How do I open toshiba ct-90287 case to dry buttons

I guess this is a remote control.

Remove the batteries and look around including inside the battery cover for any small screws.

Remove all screws - Even If there isn't any screws.

Next>
You need a fairly wide but thin flat bladed screwdriver to split the case. Place the blade of the screwdriver between the two casings of the remote control and gently twist the blade and the case will begin to split apart. work it loose - but don't foce it apart. Apply even pressure around the remote control with the blade of the screwdriver.

Once you have seperated the two halves - clean the rubber buttons with either Meths or Isopropyl Alcohol and also clean the circuit board with the same where the buttons make contact with the circuit board. Then reassemble. Your control should then be ok!

I got the same projector and have had to take it apart a few times, they are not to hard to open

There are 5 (not inc the projector cover screw) screws to remove from the bottom of the projector (A long neck philps screw driver will be needed). Once these are removed The top will be loose apart from catching midle of the front and at the back, This is down to the top being clipped in the middle.

Remove the grey panel round the connectors, one sreew and the 2 plug fixing nuts around the DVI Port. Once these are removed pull the panel away from the projector, pulling from the midle of the panel as its cliped to the side. Once remove lift the top of the projector roateing it around the front

Hope this helps

I have the exact same part burned at the bottom. I just used a long nose plier and bend the bottom so it touches the print board circuit. It works. I guess I could also use a soldering iron to fix it. But will see if this temp solution works or not.

Receiver rattles. Like something loose inside.

The rattle is probably a weight. On purpose, they put a piece of metal in the handle part of the handset to give it more weight.

If there isn't a secret screw under anything in the handle, it's probably glued or clipped at each end. Those are the worst kind.
Sometimes a slight pressure at the break near the top of the receiver will be enough to seperate it to get a knife in the opening to pry it apart.

When you get the 1/3 part of it up, look to see if there isn't something else holding it. It may lead you to the tab or screw that does.

Before you destroy the handset, look under the receiver part on the inside. With any luck, there will be a part number. You'll need that when you order a new handset :-)

How do i open the mbox 2 pro?

There are five shiny screws and one black one located behind the plastic front label (the part that has the markings for the input levels and switches), plus three behind the serial number label, inside the handle part you open with the allen key. This removes the front panel, then, there are about twelve screws around the plastic casing, attaching the casing to the inner metal encasing.

There are three screws behind the foam strip on the metal casing, which attach a heavy duty metal strip to the inner casing... the rest are obvious.

This is how to deconstruct the casing in the event that something is rattling inside.

Keep in mind, if you still have a warranty on your MBOX 2, you won't anymore once you deconstruct it. So I don't advise it unless your device is well past warranty.

Though, if something is indeed rattling inside, I'm sure that's a breach of warranty conditions anyway.
You had best check on that first, but you might end up taking her apart anyway.
