If this has a small hole, it will be on the front of the CD. Each manufacturer seems to put it in a different place, but I would look above the eject button. Failing that, look on the opposite side of the drawer. The hole should be on one side or another. I have seen some CD drawers where the hole is actually right at the top of the drawer--hard to see.
To eject, insert the end of a large paper clip straight in. You will feel resistance and as you push, the drawer will open slightly.

Try this: Shut down computer using power button. Start again. Try to take disc out normally. Or go to My Computer-right click on dvd-eject.

I have a dell studio 17 laptop. There does not

You can go to my computer and then you will see the dvd drive showing. It will probably show the title of the cd. Usually it is the D drive. Right click it and click eject. That should eject it for you.

2 cds in the cd/dvd slot

hello, is the drive now stuck won't eject with the button? if so try using paper clip in the tiny hole close to the eject button. take a paper clip and straighten it and then gently insert in tiny hole keeping straight and leveled, after is inserted in to drive about 3/4 of an inch you will feel little resistance and then gently press it to eject the drive manually.

I hope that what your question was, if not post back.

good luck

Ejecting cd dell studio 17

Supposing that the Studio 15 / 17 has a slot loading drive:

You can either press the eject button above the keyboard (the touch sensitive one)

or

Go to 'Computer' in Vista and right click the CD/DVD drive. Then click 'Eject'.

This should work.

It's very annoying they don't tell you how to do this. I looked here for the solution, then found it myself.

You have to depress the blue Fn key and simultaneously depress F10. Notice that that key has a blue "eject" symbol on it.
