Re: ipod & itunes libary

You need to create a seperate profile on your computer, on winXp you can do this from the USERS Menu in the control panel.

When you turn your computer on, you should then see the welcome screen, (which allows you tyo choose the profile to use)

he will then have a seperate profile, and a seperate iTunes library to you.

you can then Share your iTunes Library so that he can access your tunes from his profile.

ITunes does not recognize my iPod Nano 8GB Silver. It recognizes my iPod 2GB. Why is this happening? I have a Dell XPS and I am using Microsoft Word 2010.

Just reset the 8GB nano by holding the center and menu buttons at the same time for about 6 seconds. It usually works for me with my iPod classic 120GB.

I got an ipod nano for christmas and i looked by misstake and i dont know the pin wat do i do

You have to restore it back to default. If you haven't backed up your songs, they will all be lost. Connect it to your computer and open itunes. When it appears in iTunes, click the restore button on the ipod home page

Ipod nano 16gb won't connect with pc(itunes).

Is your ipod nano fully charged? and your installed iTunes the latest version?
Please make sure it is charged, and the new iTunes is downloaded and installed from here please do the following steps:
Connect ipod nano to PC. Make sure iTunes is already open prior to connecting it.
If this is the first time you are connecting then your PC will automatically install Apple Mobile Device Driver.
Once installation of the driver is complete, you should see the ipod nano logo appear within iTunes very soon. and start using it.
