One of my tvs says http:www.kidswb and other stuff three times on my screen in a big black rectangular box

It sounds as if it is in the Closed Caption Text Mode. You will need the Remote control for the set and get into the Closed Caption section of the menu and turn the Close Caption off.

Black rectangular box on screen from doing menu


Take ur tv remote go to menu check the captioning functions turn all CC1,2,3 off and all txt off too.Yes,text functions is on,that why u getting a big black block flashing on ur screen.

Black box


This is probably TEXT1 or TEXT2 data, which is an extension of Closed Captioning. Try cycling through the CC settings using your remote to turn it off.

Big black box on screen


It has something to do with the closed captioning. He must have hit the closed caption button on your remote. You need to either turn the closed caption off or make another selection under closed captioning like cc1 cc2. Just keep making selections until the box goes away.

I pressed "source" on remote and the screen went black except for "No Signal" in a blue box in lower right corner Ican't get a picture back


I'm not sure how but my picture returned Now a small rectangular black spot sometime appears at bo;ttom of screen - uas since disappeared. I wish Omega TVs were more user friendly.

JVC Screen problem


using your remote ,off the close caption. the black rectangular box that you see for the message but since you have message in the box. that why you see a rectangular black screen.

I had the same problem. A big black box in the middle of the screen that would temperarily go away if with the EDS button.
Go to the main menu and turn off closed captioning. It worked for me! :D
