Question about Tag Heuer AquaracerWAF1110.BA0800 watch
I have been back to the shop where I purchased the watch and they have spoken directly to Tag who confirmed that the strap materials used are no different from my previous Links model with stainless steel strap, however I cannot understand this as I never had any issues with my previous watch even when new. Please help!

SOURCE: Help setting the time
Tags have a screw down crown (winder knob) turn the knob counter clock-wise until you feel the crown unscrew (not off) then pull the crown carfully. It will pop once this is for date adjust. Then pull once more and you can now adjust the hands, set accordingly then push crown back in. After you push it back in gently compress the crown and tighten clockwise until it stops. CAUTION!!!!!!! Tags are not waterproof if the crown is not screwed back down. I hope this helps I am actually a car guy (just happen to own a couple)

To s e t t h e t i m e a n d d a t e
Your TAG Heuer chronograph is fitted
with a screw-in crown and safety seals
which guarantee it to be waterproof
to 200 m (660 ft).
Position 0: Crown is screwed in
Important: The crown must be
screwed in correctly to guarantee
the water-resistance of the watch.
Position 1: Crown unscrewed.
To change the hour (change of time
zone) or date quickly, unscrew the
crown, pull it out to position 2 (quick
corrector) and turn it in either
direction. This mode allows you to
change the hour and the date without
any loss of minutes.
The date changes each time the
hour-hand passes midnight.
To set the time, unscrew the crown,
pull it out to position 3 (setting the
time) and turn it in either direction.
After setting the date or the
time, push the crown back and
screw in to position 0.

You change the date the same way you change the time. The only difference being pull the crown out 1/2 way to the first click instead of all the way out.
