If it is the hand wheel, it may be that the belt has come off.

Machine wheel is very tight and hard to turn

not knowing your machine make or model, I can only suggest that you are having "tension" issues. Most machines have tension control located around the wheel, sort of like a second very thin wheel. This type usually requires that you would hold the wheel in place while moving the 2nd wheel to make the adjustment.

Other machines have the tension control looking like a push button. Maybe in the middle of one of the other tenstion wheels. pushing that button in while turning that and/or other control wheels would help that.

I may also be that your machine just needs to be oiled. Fabric stores will have this oil and it is specially formulated for sewing machine parts. More is less w this type of oil.

T ake a look all around and even under the machine, hopefully you will find a number for tech support for your machine.

Good Luck and Happy Sewing!

My juki serger mo-634de suddenly stopped working. Lights on, wheels and parts move freely, even stitching seems to work if I turn it manually, but nothing happens when I push the pedal. No sound. ...

Hi, I have the exact same machine. it sounds like the wire from the foot pedal to the machine is broken. You would still get power from the wall to the machine to light the light, but no 'gas pedal'. You could maybe get an electrian to test the connection under the foot pedal and if the wire is damaged? or maybe the part that plugs in the machine is cracked or damaged?
Good luck! Annette

I need to take apart my Brother XR-52 sewing maching to replace the spool pin. I have removed all the screws and cannot figure out how the case comes apart. Thank you.

XR-52 (and probably similar) has 9 screws on the back and bottom that needto be undone - be sure to keep track of which screw goes where becausethey're almost all different. One other screw is under the "nose" piece which holds the front shell to the back - it just needs to be loosened. After you haveremoved the 9 screws and loosened the one I mentioned you start at the bottom and pry apart carefully of course, noticing that the last part comes apart at the top where the three wheels go thru the back shell. In order to take off the front shell you need to remove two more screws, also fairly obvious. Reassembly is opposite order being sure when you get ready to put the back on that you align the three wheels at the top first, then work down to the bottom, replacing all the screws. That's really it - not rocked science. Just be sure not to over-tighten screws going into plastic. Have fun!

Needle is getting stuck on the bobbin case

That usually means there is a problem with the threading. If the thread is pulled through the wrong side of the needle, is wrapped around the top wheels wrong, or the bobbin is threaded wrong, this will usually cause it to jam up by the bobbin. i would suggest re-threading your machine, or if that doesn't work, contacting the problem hotline.

Bottom tread keeps jamming and getting all knoted up. The display gives me an E6 error code. what can i do

try re-threading your machine. usually when the machine is jammed at the bobbin or when the needle gets stuck to the bobbin thread, it means that there is an error with the thread. make sure that the thread isn't pulled through the wrong side of the needle, wrapped the wrong way around the wheels on the top, and that the bobbin is threaded correctly. if this doesn't work, you may want to contact their hotline.
