SOURCE: how do you set regular channels and low and high on a connex 3300

Combination of hi / low switch and the band knob, I believe C band with the switch on low will give regular channels.

SOURCE: Knob setting of front of radio (Connex 3300)

The best way to set it is to get you a radio check, go to channel 19 and ask someone about three to five miles away to give you a radio check, start with your modulation all the way open and go from there.....hope this was helpful...

SOURCE: my connex 3300 will not lock on correct frequency it either goes to 25 mhz or 28 mhz

Turn the BAND knob (under the RF power selector switch) in conjunction with the High Low selector switch to choose band A, B, C and in the other position D, E, F. A listing of frequencies that can be tuned in this manner can be found by clicking the link below:

http://hotspotcb.com/charts/freqchar33.html

A few words of caution.. the FCC takes a very dim view of unauthorized use of frequencies. The only range of frequencies that you can legally use without an FCC issued license (in the U.S. anyway) are those in Range D. If caught transmitting on any of the other frequencies without the proper license(s) fines and imprisonment may result. No one ever expects to get caught - but plenty do. If you'd like to gain the use the 28Mhz and up frequencies, check out:

Amateur radio is not shackled by channels, power limits less than 1500 watts nor limited to AM and SSB modes. Check it out! Good luck!

Cx-3300 low output on low and high power

the switch for low and high power the contacts are gone or you need to check the DC voltage to the output section and the voltage drop on TX usually the likes of the cobra 148GTLDX has a bridge board you can remove and add some LCD DVM for current monitors and setting of bias etc so perhaps a regulator has failed or a resistor or the contacts on the switch you need to trace it out using current readings

Have a connex 3300hp and i dont know where the dials should be can you help?

If you're wanting to talk on your basic 40 channel then a/d and on high band. Always keep your mic gain and rf gain to the right echo I like both around 10 o'clock. nbl at the top.talk back is up to you if you want to hear yourself and run it on high power unless you're running a power box then switch to low power.

Wat are the best finals to buy for my 3300 hp zx i got a new set of 2312 finals are they good or???

Probably the ones that were originally in it?

Different power finals are generally not interchangeable as they need to have the same pin-out, same voltage, approximately the same current draw, etc. If you're looking for higher output, you will need to change out more than just the finals, in order to support the extra current draw from the higher output finals.

Does anyone know the pod too turn for lowering the watts on my connex it is too high and i would like to turn it back also the modulation thanks

You have to adjust the high key first so make sure you're rf power is on high, hope you have a meter set it on the 20 watt scale, key up and turn vr 13
located in back of radio infront of where you're coax connector is until it keys around 12 watts, thats where most connex 33hp should be set,now go to low power and key adjust vr 16 right net to the otherone down to about 3 watts, now you can drive a liners. Mod is Vr 2 right below them two. whistle in mic and turn to get the mod you want.

Connex 3300

Bring it to a cb shop and ask for a bench check, or ask a trucker to hook it up and check it out.
