Front Panel Reset & Initialization
Many customer generated symptoms, intermittent symptoms
or symptoms that cannot be duplicated can be resolved
by performing resets or initialization from the front
panel. To avoid making nuisance service calls that may
not be covered under the warranty, ask the customer to
perform the following functions before going to their
home.
The most common are:
• System Reset (Re-boot)
• A/V Reset (Resets Customer Audio/Video
Settings)
• Initialization (Resets all customer options,
settings and menu items)
Use the Front Panel Guide as a reference to quickly
perform the desired function. Note: Button location may
differ by model.
The Reset - Initialization Guide details all resets and initialization
functions.

How do I fix the sound bar? When I use the remote to turn the sound up, the sound bar goes all the way up and when I try to turn it back down, it goes all the way down.

Sounds like you have a resistor fried in the sound bar. A electronic's repair shop should be able to find and repair it.

Volume keeps going up and down

Follow the volume control wires back to the board. See if you can see if it runs into an IC. These days sound is often controlled by one of these devices. When they go the sound can go up and down.

Sound goes up and down

Sounds like a dry joint or a capacitor has broken down, you will need to take back off and check, just remember there is 240volts in the PSU of the system.

MPVR+ CB Picture Sound

I have this camera and unfortunately there doesn't seem to be a way to turn that sound off. It's odd because I have an IS-DV2+ also and if I turn the volume all the way down, that sound is muted as welll. I don't know what goes on at Aiptek...

Volume

Hi the volume is just a big fuzzy sound. You can listen to anything. Mute button does work and volume adjustment does work. No Sound at all other than fuzzy sound.
