I have a D52W20. I bought a HDMI cord thinking it was what I need, what is it that I DO need for HD?

To correctly get HD, you need to satisfy three things.

First you need an HD tv.

Second you need an HD signal. IE.. HD cable box, Blu Ray etc..

Last, you need either HDMI wires or Components wires.

Hook the HD box up to the TV with component wires(I believe you tv doesn't have hdmi connections), go to the correct input and enjoy.

Replacing thermostat in house. two wires on one terminal and three on the other. I did not read the complete instructions before I disconnected the wires and now I'm not sure which wires goes to what...

i believe there are letters stamped near the terminals like "R" for RED/"G" for GREEN/"Y" for YELLOW and so on if not the instructions should help you locate the correct wire for the correct terminal

Can't find the correct wire to the a/c compressor in my engine compatment. also can't find any wiring diagrams for that year. I own a 1973 Pontiac fierbird and have the factory a/c but I believe the wires...

I checked some old diagrams for that and though they show just about everything else, the a/c part is vague...If I remember correctly, I believe the compressor gets powered through the heater control switch, to the heater relay, then to a thermal limiter switch (a small black item with two male spade connectors protruding from it.) then that side goes to the clutch terminal. The other clutch terminal is ground. Since a/c was not a "fixed" option back then, likely there is a separate diagram for that option. Hope you find a diagram, but I believe I have it right. or, darn close to it! The only ting I can't remember is where the heater relay draws power from (likely a fusable link connected to the starter battery terminal)

I have a '81 280zx NA. When I turn the car off the dash door, brake, fuel, and clock lights don't turn off. The car was hacked by the previous owner. I've made attempts to correct many of the mistakes...

jonj1138: BINGO! I believe you have probably hit on the correct source of the problem. Who ever installed the radio, probably looked for the wire which supplied power when the lights were on which should be the red wire with the blue tracer. They have somehow tied the unswitched circuit into the lighting circuit. They may have even picked off of the the cigarette lighter. Then they tied it into an Unswitched power source, not thinking of the feedback.
Unswitched power sources: a red with a white tracer and a red with a black tracer. I believe I have the correct colors It's been years since I have worked in a ZX ans I don't have a SCHEMATIC handy. I am doing this from memory. There may be two wire connected to the Unswitched power supply. From your stereo, you will have a Yellow wire. This is the Memory wire. Leave it hooked up to the Unswitched power supply. The other wire needs to be disconnected and if it was hooked up to light the for the radio, hook it up to the red with blue tracer. That will be the switched circuit for the lighting.

I hope that this will solve your problem. Good Luck!

Wire connections for camper

The wire from your brake controller should be blue (if it was wired correctly). It also should be a heavier gauge wire. Typically 10 gauge. Once you have determined the correct wire, check it to see if controller power is getting through the plug. Another common problem is the ground wire not connected (white).

Maytag Dryer Tstat wiring

I believe that this part is a thermostat. If im not mistaken, it shouldnt matter which wire goes on which prong. Think this is a reversable thermostat. It should have just 2 prongs correct? Jim
