Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
The driver? Are you serious? I have the same issue. The problem is the XP-305 and the DX8400 (I have had both) will not MECHANICALLY take 260gsm photo paper and struggles with virtually any card. I'm sorry but copying and pasting a standard answer to up your Post level is annoying. There is NOTHING to suggest the OP is having any issues with anything else other than the issues outlined. It seems to be unable to "grab" the paper. It can be tricky with 240gsm but 260gsm seems impossible.

I have several Epson printers and it would seem this is common, I am on my fourth replacement printer, Epson keeps shipping them.

Driver could be corrupt.
Disconnect the printer or at least be sure it is turned off. I'd do both and reinstall the CD software program that came with the printer. When the software program asks you to connect the printer to the USB port, do so and it should again work properly.
Hope this helps. Bud
