As per your manual the pressure washer should only be used for a maximum number of minutes to keep from overloading the motor and causing it to seize. There should be a "RESET" switch or button due to a protection circuit built in to keep from damaging the unit. Please refer to manual for location of reset switch/button

SOURCE: I have a C/H mod. PW1380- worked trouble free for

Bud The internal seals have blown just enough to cause this to malfunction, whilst it is only a small cost for the seals themselves the overall cost is $200 to repair as it has to be tested and servicd as a company policy ( just had my own done for the same reason)

It is not DIY as the tech showed me some of the pitfalls in self attempted fix and I am glad i didn't fiddle. The case is easily broken if you dont know how to open it and that;s just for starters.

Please rate my help++++Thanks for using FIXYA

No water enters washer during start

Good afternoon friend, I appreciate your post!

Based on the symptoms you are describing it sounds like your Frigidaire washer could possibly have faulty water valve or a communication error with the pressure switch. Lastly, it could be an issue with your control not sending power or an open wire. Because it could be a number of any one of several underlying causes, I would recommend reaching out to a professional to properly diagnose and repair your washer. Best regards-Matt

No power

usually if your unit does not start, the high pressure switch has failed to return to normal position, this can be caused buy poorly constructed switch housing or faulty micro switch.you will need to take it out of its casing and locate the plastic housing that has two wires inside. inspect this for functionality repair or replace and test unit before re-assembling CAUTION avoid touching any wires that may be live when testing!

Have a 1195 Chevey C1500 Silverado pick up. We have no power to the AC compressor. Checked all fuses and relays and they are good. Installed new low and high pressure switches. Do have power to low...

It might sound like a dumb question but do you have freon in the system? If all you've checked and/or changed prove out to be good, the compressor wont engage withouth sufficient pressure in the system.

Where would the reset switch be located on a goodman ac unit

There shouldn't be a reset switch. The only units I've ever seen or heard of having a reset switch were old Rheem condenser, they had a high pressure switch that you could reset by pressing a red plastic button, but even Rheems no longer have them and I've never heard of Goodman using them.

What problem are you having with your A/C system? And why are you looking for a reset for it? Please repost your question and give us a bit more info so that we may help you with your probelm.

My washer will not stop filling - it overflowed the tub, and will not drain.

If you can hear water running into the machine when the power is off then the fill valve has failed

If the water switches on and off when you switch the machine power supply on and off then it is either the pressure switch or the pipe supplying the pressure to the pressure switch

Easy test is to remove the pressure switch pipe at the base of the outer container and start the washer filling , blow lightly into the pipe and you should hear a click and the water should turn off

If it does not then the switch is faulty, if it does then check for congealed soap in the small plastic fitting from which you removed the pipe in the first place

Gould 1/2hp submergible well pump cycles on and off constantly. low to no water pressure .The pressure switch remains in the closed position. Power to pump side of pressure switch good. pump runs 15...

My first thought was that of a water logged tank which causes short cycling, from your notes the tank is good (the tank may be partially water logged though) If the tank is ok and your getting short cycling (and the switch is good) I would guess your check valve down the well has failed. As the pump creates pressure then shuts off the water may be going right back down the well causing the pump to cycle again. This could also account for the poor water pressure as the check valve may be stuck slightly open allowing the system to loose pressure but only allowing a small amount of flow by when running. There could be a leak within the pumps drop-pipe and your loosing pressure through this leak. I expect you'll have to have the pump pulled.
I hope this may have helped,
Tom

Water fills up in tub but wont shut off flooded

Sounds like a problem with either the inlet valve or the pressure switch, the way to determine which is bad... while the machine is filling pull the power plug..if the water keeps filling it's the inlet valve that is going to be bad..if it stops filling it's going to be the pressure switch. The pressure switch is located in the control panel and has a small rubber pipe attached.once you have figured which it is replace it good luck.
If you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to comment again..Mike

Fills up with water and wont stop

if it still fills , with power off, the valve is letting by water and has become faulty,if water stops with power off, check for smudged powder at the lower part of the pressure switch pipe giving a false read to pressure switch, other than that the pressure switch has become faulty, look at the pressure switch pipe first for blockage, hope this helps
