Question about Computers & Internet
You should not need any sort of connect button. Make sure the batteries are in the mouse and plug in the wireless mouse USB. The computer should immediately recognize it.

Testimonial: "Thanks Mike the first thing I did was put in new batteries and the mouse lite right up but it does not work. Worked with my old computer with windows 7 and my internet search keeps talking about a connect button on the usb as well as mouse. I can see the mouse one but there is not one on usb"

Okay, a coworker had this problem and it was a fairly easy fix, first, plug the USB reciever into a direct USB port, then pess the connect button on the underside of the mouse, when the red light starts blinking let go and then press it and hold, and at the SAME TIME press and hold the connect button on the receiver until both the receiver light and the mouse light turn on steadily, and voila!

Just found a temporary solution (fixes the immediate problem, but it does return):
Turned the mouse off held down both buttons, turned it on, let go of both buttons. When you let go, it works again.
